I agree, though, the virus was just another display of a long series of problems we have continually ignored for years. All this has bee predicted by those who have been paying attention. If we think things can and will go back to normal we will have another blow coming. I don't have access to it on my laptop but there is a short section of a TED talk that talks of how we get into this mess. We allow ourselves to be lulled into thinking technology will always be there to save us.
