Craig Coopersmith was up early that morning as usual and typed his daily inquiry into his phone. “Good morning, Team Covid,” he wrote, asking for updates from the ICU team leaders working across 10 hospitals in the Emory University health system in Atlanta.
One doctor replied that one of his patients had a strange blood problem. Despite being put on anticoagulants, the patient was still developing clots. A second said she’d seen something similar. And a third. Soon, every person on the text chat had reported the same thing.
“That’s when we knew we had a huge problem,” said Coopersmith, a critical-care surgeon. As he checked with his counterparts at other medical centers, he became increasingly alarmed: “It was in as many as 20, 30 or 40 percent of their patients.”
Holy shit!! Without testing and social distancing there is not going be any controlling this virus until we get a vaccine. It is stunning how badly this administration under trump has failed the majority of the American people. Oh, the the top, has done quite well but everyone else will suffer.
Just heard on NPR your friend lol (not mine) Mr. Eyeman held a rally in Spokane. As you may know the doofus is running for governor and is trying to drum up support.

@JackPedigo Not my friend either - WTF?!? No I had not heard he was running for governor. eyman is as bad a dino rossi. My republican friend on FB is not happy with my posts.
@silverotter11 You have a republican friend? That's a surprise. I am sure you aren't happy with any of his posts either.
I am watching the video link on population admin sent. Only halfway through but it is rough and not pretty.
@JackPedigo It did come as a surpirse. We got to be friends before that side came to full flower. She is an ex volunteer firefighter/EMT. So we have a similar dark humor thing. She does not like trump but when it came to voting she loathes hillery and most dems so much she will cut off her nose to spite her face. A while bad her mom and step dad moved into the complex. Long story short, her mom's mental and physical heath went south pretty but I did get to know them before she passed. Her step dad is atheist and democrat so my friend was glad he had someone to talk to about politics . Very republican as regards government in one's life, gun supporter but of course cherry picks the 2nd Amendment - oh well. But hates the big corporate bail outs and does see subsidizing big business is socialism for the wealthy and hates that. Shrug, It is what it is.
