Of COURSE! An ignorant lower class (and a non-existent middle class) are what oligarchs always want and need.

This is one of many current GOP trends that makes me see red. The LAST thing this country needs is a population with less ability to think critically. But, it makes perfect political sense. Steer everyone into technical programs and specialized certifications, and often a rather low ceiling correlates to such professions. Dumber, poorer people would be far easier to manipulate and control.

Have you been to Tennessee? Get out your banjos. He knows better. He understands the makeup of the GOP in this day and age. He is just playing to his base. Stupid people are always suspicious of smart and or educated people. This will not change.
