Probably best for religious folks to see how ridiculous the ritual has become by coming up with new ways to illustrate the point of the exercise. Maybe just carry the baby through a sprinkler that has been blessed by the priest? It all means the same thing. Maybe a clorox wipe could work to wash away the original sin?
