I personally don't follow the halo. I have quite the opposite occur for me. If they are a beautiful person physically, they have twice the work as normal people do to prove they have beauty inside as well. And yes, I've seen the effect. Mostly guys concerning beautiful women.

I've seen it and experienced it I think it provides an edge but is not sustainable without strong rhetoric skills.

Hmm, not really; I can make the difference between a pretty face which clearly lacks any kind of intellect beyond a goldfish's and an ugly face with eyes sparkling with intelligence. The area of the eyes usually tell you a lot about people's intelligence, in my experience, if you know how to decode the signs.

I’m ugly, dumb, dishonest, and incapable. I belong in a mental hospital.

Attractive people are attractive. Intelligence, honesty and capability doesnot depend upon how charming you are.

No I am not biased.

Attractive people are attractive and capable people are capable.
