Was outside with the Bruiser-dude this morning.
Was standing under the crepe myrtle tree, and even though I couldn't see them, I could hear the buzzing of a good number of bees enjoying the blooms.

We have one in our back yard, too. Its blossoms are white. We love it.

We've also got pink and white.

What a beautiful tree. ...not native to my part of the world, you are lucky ! Love to hear that the bees are busy doing their business pollinating and making honey over there. We have lost a lot of our bees here and it is a serious problem.

When I lived in Louisiana we had crepe mytles. I got excited when they bloomed, it meant the end of the heat of summer. And they are a beautiful tree.

The blooms are most definitely not signifying the end of the summer heat.
We're smack in the middle of it!
It's freakin' oppressively hot.

@KKGator I have several great myrtles and they all Bloom at different times.

@Lorajay Here, too.
