It can't happen without a change in the law, which would have to be approved by the Senate and Congress. The most he can do is convince his cult members that the election is illegitimate.

This was discussed this morning on NPR. It was stated it's one his wishful thinking list. Can't and won't happen.

He had no authority to do this. It's an attempt at dictatorial rule. Even during the height of the Civil War and World War II elections were held.
