Oh... it's for fried rice. I had no idea where to start with frying rice. I think I understand the rinsing, to get rid of extra starch, because it tends to make the cooked rice sticky.
@bingst if you cook it right it shouldn't and you use day old rice usually for fried rice
these were just too funny to me
@whiskywoman He'd really freak out by someone cooking rice in a microwave oven, like I do.
