America’s plutocratic oligarchy has always favored the wealthy and left working people feeling disenfranchised and conspiritorial.
BTW, in James Madison’s notes of the 1787 Federal Convention there’s evidence for a government dominated by plutocrats. It’s in words spoken by Hamilton, Madison, and a few others.
