(CNN)On Thursday night The Atlantic published a bombshell story that alleged -- citing four anonymous sources -- that President Donald Trump had repeatedly mocked US soldiers killed in battle and skipped a visit to a veterans' cemetery in France out of concern that rainy conditions would mess up his carefully coiffed hair.
The report immediately became a massive story, with Democrats -- including Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden -- rushing to condemn Trump for his alleged behavior and the House rallying an aggressive pushback against the article, including the President himself.
An article on this was in today's Seattle Times. This concerned a Faux noise reporter actually checking some sources and finding them credible. Now tRump wants her fired. Seems he thinks he has the power to fire anyone he pleases. Watch him try to fire Biden when he gets elected but before he takes office.
The Atlantic throughout it's 163 year history, has been a solid source for literary, and cultural commentary. I'm thinking they've got this report fully documented. If so - OOPS, there go Cheato's college-educated suburban women, along with big swaths of the military. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Nothing to date has been a bridge too far for the gop supporters of trump. I wonder how many flag waving gun toting patriots' heads exploded when they heard about his disregard/disrespect for the military men and women who have been wounded or died.
Course in order to hear about it they can't be watching fox or oann.
Cognitive Dissonance grows deeper and stronger.
