Wow!! Vitamin D makes a huge difference in the number of hospital patients with Covid who were moved into the ICU.
The study included 76 patients. Only one of fifty patients with Covid, who were given vitamin D, were put into the ICU and none died. Half (13 of 26) of those not given vitamin D were put into the ICU and two died.
The study group was small; nonetheless, chances of this trial being a random false positive is one in a thousand (for statisticians p= 0.001).
