We already have patriotic education in the United States; it's called "civics." By contrast, what Donald is proposing is nationalist propaganda, to ignore some aspects of our history and teach only the parts that cast the U.S. in a positive light. He mentioned the American Revolution, but that's already taught extensively and positively in schools. He's obviously pandering to his base, considering that the federal government doesn't set curriculum guidelines, and continues to foment division and hatred so his supporters will be fired up and get to the polls in November.

We have been teaching that for decades. Lets try teaching the truth about this country's history.
