Christians railing against science is nothing new. That's what we are having today. The right wing is using the fundamentalists to try and destroy the environmental movement so the fossil fuel industry can make a little extra money. This goes for the war against wearing masks and Covid-19 denial. Orniel Marsh was destroyed for pursuing paleontology which went against the bible.
