Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.My brother and I were lucky enough to play two shows with Jerry Jeff, one in Tulsa and one in Longmont Co. When we started playing music in Austin in 75 he was a huge influence on us at the time. Even though we do my brothers songs, every once in awhile he pulls out "L A Freeway" or "Desperados". Our first gig since the pandemic is coming up on the 8th and he will probably sing one of those in tribute. He will be missed for sure by the older musicians and fans in Texas and Austin in particular.
