@SeaGreenEyez, when Nixon started it the war on drugs was aimed at the blacks (heroin) and the antiwar radicals (marijuana). As you point out it has always been racist, with a major objective being to destroy the black communities by imprisoning the young fathers and thereby destroying the black families. And it has, as you pointed out, evolved to keep destroying the black communities.

It has almost nothing to do with Big Pharma, especially when compared to what it has to do with the CIA's funding of their covert operations. I find it a very interesting "coincidence" that the drugs being focused on at any given time are the ones the CIA is smuggling and selling to support their black budget. This gives them all of American law enforcement to take out their competition.
