In 20, the Canadian Supreme Court unanimous ruled that the city of Saguenay, in Quebec, violated citizens’ rights by opening city council meetings with prayer.

That should’ve put an end to the matter across the nation.

It did not.

The same thing happens in America. Also, this hands on praying goes way back and it helped convince Trumpy he was the "Chosen One." Everything is all trucked up.

Maybe other beliefs or atheist will want to do something in place of the christian prayers.

Until someone (local) complains they usually won't stop. Chances are the locals (voters) don't have a problem with it.

Beside that back step, I think Canada is more enlightened than this country. Less religion is this country would lower the covid rate.
