I could boycott he mall, but I don't see how it would have any effect since I haven't been in Texas in 25 years. If he owns the mall, he can do it. He is also free to reap the good or ill that comes from his actions.

I guess if they own the mall, then it is their choice to put it up. If it were public or government land, then I'd be a pretty upset. As it stands, I just wouldn't shop at that particular mall... if I lived in the area.

If you urinate on the street, it is illegal to urinate in public. If you urinate in your friend's living room, they can have you trespassed, but the urination is not actually illegal. If you urinate on a stand in the middle of the mall, is that illegal or do they just trespass you?

As an atheist I personally have no problem with it. I think it's quaint. A kind of artifact from yestercenturies. He can do whatever he wants to. People can do whatever they want to including not shopping at that mall if it offends them. Personally, I'll shop somewhere else as I do not appreciate having religion shoved down my throat.

Private property....I guess it’s legal, but boycotting every business in it could and likely will prove a really bad way to spend 17 million dollars in an economy hemorrhaging retail jobs. Way to go genius! I wonder how long it will withstand all the finger wagging and legal ire of the retailers who slapped their company name inside/outside, ostensibly before this boneheaded move?
