This is a problem in Australia and I suspect in most countries that have active service personnel. I believe a major factor is returned soldiers/ sailors are not properly debriefed. Months are spent at basic and Corp training; turning civilians into soldiers. The same amount of time/ energy should be spent on debriefing; turning soldiers back into functional civilians.

PTSD is known to improve with the use of psychedelics such as MDMA, psilocybin and cannabis. Get your leaders to start these programs.

Good thing then that Trump has not created any new wars then and succeeded in creating peace between Israel and two of its neighbours.

What a good change from Obama and Bush before him who caused and expanded wars.

It's definitely true for American vets from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sad when it happens but unfortunately there are few programs to help. War causes more than body wounds and we bear that sacrifice
