Why are you agnostic? If you're not agnostic then why are you only a theist or an atheist?
Because, though it’s a logical impossibility to prove god doesn’t exist.
The theist have to prove that god is real.
@xenoview no they don’t. The burden of proof is on the atheists.
@Gatovicolo
The burden of proof is on the one making the claim. Theist claim there is a god, so they have to prove it.
@xenoview and atheists claim gif doesn’t exist.
@Gatovicolo
I don't make a claim god doesn't exist. I believe in zero gods.
@xenoview logically equivalent.
@Gatovicolo
How have I made a claim?
@xenoview I don't make a claim god doesn't exist. I believe in zero gods.
@Gatovicolo
Do you believe in any gods? Do you claim there is no god?
@xenoview that’s the whole point. It’s a non-sensical position. You can neither prove or disprove the existence of god. I just don’t know and I don’t think I ever could.
@Gatovicolo
As an agnostic atheist, I have no knowledge that a god exist, and I believe in zero gods. I don't know if there is a god.
@xenoview as an agnostic I merely acknowledge the fact that it’s not possible to know anything outside of human understanding, experience or knowledge. If there is something outside of that, then fine. I doubt I’ll ever understand that or anyone else will.
I'm an agnostic atheist. I have no knowledge any god exist, and believe in zero gods. Theist have failed to prove there is a god.
I don't think that theists have to prove there is a god in order to believe, but I agree there is no compelling evidence to back up their beliefs. The best they can come up with is "You can't look at a sunset and not believe in God." My reply is "Yes I can, since science explains the sunset."
Labels in our contemporary world are more misleading than ever before. Individuals elude fixed labeling because manifesting self independently makes corralling impossible.
We are 'social creatures' but our uniqueness as one-of-a-kind creatures enables forming our OWN frames of reference. If we follow our nature and resist 'off the shelf' identities offered (or imposed upon) us, we'll reject the confines of labeling as many of us have rejected confines of theological doctrines. We are well equipped to fashion our own thought systems, thus our own labels.
Mine is Kinetologist. It belongs to nobody else and before me it was innominate. With naming goes the definition: What happens and has happened provides the most reliable disclosure of 'what is'.
Half or so of labels are functionally self-cancelled by conduct.. About another 49% are intentionally misleading. And the 1% left are at best suspicious.
I am agnostic because I don't know what started this whole process. I don't know if there is a cognitive entity behind the endeavor. I don't know how many "big bangs" there have been, or if there is a parallel universe.
I will not be an atheist because I will not take the time to have foolish arguments about man-made gods- that is the thousands of one-true-gods.
