Eugene Goodman Awarded Congressional Medal of Honor
Officer Eugene Goodman is a hero!
The Senate has voted unanimously to award Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman with a Congressional Gold Medal, the institution's highest civilian honor, for his actions to protect the Congress during the deadly Jan. 6 siege on the U.S. Capitol.
Goodman was greeted in the Senate chamber on Friday with a standing ovation for his actions, which have been praised on both sides of the aisle as heroic and likely life saving.

Eugene Goodman protected all of the Congress, Republican and Democrat, and showed great courage in doing so. And Now the Republicans cannot find the courage to convict Trump. They should hang their heads in Shame. They are a disgrace. Eugene Goodman and every other citizen of the US deserves better than this. Before Hitler came to power in the 1930's he had Mobs go around putting fear in to people he disagreed with. This is what the Republican party has become. This is Fascism. Make no mistake about this. THIS IS FASCISM. Good men stood by and did nothing and look what happened. Don't let this happen in America. Stand up to this Fascism and have no doubt that this is FASCISM.

It’s like watching a three stooges kangaroo court spoof that was a miniseries being briefly interpreted by the scene from “Return of the king” where everyone in Minas Tirith boughs to the hobbits.
Officer Goodman is my hero.
