I have just had the privilege of being able to watch the film "the Ideal Palace"
My grandfather was similarly a postman walking his round with an 80 lb. satchel 6 days a week on the steep roads of Blackburn NW Lancashire. He would now be about 160 years old but died before my conscious recollectable memory starts.
