That was the chicken way out. It was technically a yes vote, but without the Party repercussions and deniability just in case it had passed. Amazing how so many Republicans suddenly had family emergencies on the same day.

Spkr Pelosi will hold a House investigation, now, and gQp will howl about it being partisan but the issue will remain loudly talked about into the election. That's what we need.

Remember to repeatedly bring this up any time they start talking about patriotism and standing for the pledge or whatever bullshit they're on next.

Murray, Sinema, Toomey and Burr would make it 58 votes. This was obstruction. Under any normal circumstances there would've been 60 votes. Look into the people who DNV.
