So some people think that because something has been suggested or talked about before then we can't bring it up or talk about it again, hmmm interesting.

There is nothing particularly exciting about bioluminescence. There is electrochemical activity in the brain. Any change in energy state produces light. That activity in the brain gives off photons should be expected. Move along. Nothing much to see here.

There ia another hypotheses that i am researching and that has been proposed by some japanese researchers that 'matter in all it's forms is an holographic imprint of light' or as i prefer to phrase it 'that the infinite universe and everything in it is created by an interference pattern of light'

Interesting article. Might explain why people who have had NDE's describe moving towards a great light.

Of course, nay sayers always pass this experience off as the last dying embers of the lower functioning parts of the brain, but they can never explain why the individual who has had the NDE can describe or oven recollect the experience in the first place, given that in their view all higher thinking functions have ceased.

This might offer some insight in to an explanation.

The Tibetan Book Of The Dead says that our life experience is meant to prepare us for the journey we will take once we leave our bodies and temporarily reintigrate with the light. It also says that the next physical body we inhabit will depend upon how well we have prepared ourselves in our current life. Did we make a concerted effort to strengthen the light which makes up our life force? Or did we weaken it through greedy, selfish and malevolent behavior? Hence, if true, someone like Adolf Hitler is scurrying around in the dark corners of somebody's kitchen today while somebody who did good in their previous incarnation has ascended to a higher existence than they lived in their former life.

"This study suggests that an axon’s outer coating—its myelin sheath—can act as a waveguide to channel biophotons. But it also suggests that a wide range of factors can influence this phenomenon by scattering light or absorbing it... One line of thought is based on the fact that photons are good carriers of quantum information. Many people have theorized that quantum processes may be behind some of the brain’s more mysterious processes, not least of which is consciousness itself. Zarkeshian and co are clearly enamored with this idea. But this is no more than wild speculation. Quantum communication requires significantly more than optical communication channels. There must also be mechanisms that can encode, receive, and process quantum information. It is possible that light-sensitive molecules exist in the brain but there is little evidence for this and still less that they serve as quantum processors."

The study of quantum mechanics as it effects the functioning of the brain is definitely in its early stages, but it offers some very interesting avenues of exploration.

This article goes out on a LOT of limbs. Most interactions in the universe involve photons.
