The Freedom From Religion Foundation took action and new jury notices no longer have the bible verse, but nobody seems to wnt to take credit for the verse being there int he first place.
Sadly the Pennsylvania government suffers the same fate as the Federal government. The least educated, least populated areas of the state (who consistently vote Trumplican) have more legislators than the most populated most educated urban areas. That allows them to consistently have a majority of the legislative branch, but often lose the Governor’s office and the US Senate seats, if people get out and vote. The rural areas would be more than happy if the Christian Taliban took control of the government, both State and Federal, and burned down all the urban areas or fenced them off.
In Oklahoma redistricting is controlled by the legislature with the approval of the governor. Our urban areas are trending democratic as well even though we have less urban areas than Pennsylvania. Oklahoma lost their last democratic Representative to Congress even before mandated redistricting last year. After this redistricting session I'm pretty sure we won't elect another Democrat for 10 years. My only hope in this mess is that a lot of the old mean-spirited Republican voters will die off and young people who don't care whether you're gay or believe in abortion will become voters at the end of that 10 years.
That's the area we call Pennslytucky , in the state of Pennsylvania but morally and educationally in Kentucky
Glad to see my donations are helping FFRF to go after these idiots who keep trying to push their religion on everyone!
