In Yazoo County, Mississippi, a jury recently found a father-son duo guilty of several offenses, including felony malicious mischief with a hate crime enhancement in connection with a September 2020 incident in which Wade Twiner and his son Lane Twiner chased down and shot at two Black teenagers riding ATVs near the men’s property.

They could have just called the cops in Mississippi and they would have done it for them and got away with it.

Good.
Now give them a massively long sentence and make them sell their house to pay compensation.

I chafe at the expression "Both teens survived the ordeal unharmed." I suspect it will take a lifetime to get over being chased down while being shot at, while having a vehicle rammed into yours.

I hope those men get more than a token sentence for their barbarism.
