A Wyoming county Republican Party has rejected an effort to rescind Rep. Liz Cheney’s affiliation with the GOP.
The Teton County Republican Party voted down a largely symbolic resolution this week that would have revoked its recognition of Cheney as a member of the GOP, joining the Laramie County GOP, which rejected a similar measure earlier this month.
Trumplicans are not the majority, just the noisiest.
Evidence of a very, very few in the Republican Party who are not slavishly in fealty to Trump. But it's not enough to say it's a ray of hope; Wyoming people have always been a cussedly independent lot who don't give a shit what anybody outside Wyoming thinks.
So now people are big fans of the Cheneys?
Not sure about that, they just don’t care for the Trump circus and his followers trying to overthrow their government.
Liz Cheney tends to have ethics. Definitely more ethics than her father did. There are some lines she just will never cross. She knows the national spotlight is on her because she is the only republican lesbian who holds a national office.
