The withdrawal from Afghanistan?
Bringing all of those refugees to America. During a global pandemic that is completing and utterly out of control on American soil with no hope of reprieve for, most likely, years? Absolute disaster. #smh
We can't, don't, and/or won't take care of our own. Whoever (whomever they are) thought resetting brown people, mostly Muslim brown people, less than a year after Trump was evicted from the White House, in a country that's literally falling apart in every conceivable way, is/are a monumental dumbass(es.)
Settling Afghanis in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Missouri, Indiana, South Dakota. That's some seriously sadistic shit.
They're not being fed. They're still in clothes that haven't been washed or off their bodies since Kabul, they're sick, etc., etc., and this is what America deems "asylum."
Their futures are so bleak here they would have been better off under Taliban rule. At least they would've expected such a disgusting and hopeless future.
The seriuosly sad thing about this is that Guam was ready, willing, and able to take care of these people until they could be properly brought into the US mainland. Guam took care of the South Vietnamese after Saigon fell. They took care of the Kurds who got out after trump stabbed them in the back in Syria. The have sent delegations representing the territorial government, the military on Guam, and the private sector to DC to talk to anyone who would listen about how they had the infrastructure and experience to take care of this. The delegations have been doing this for months.
I'm not saying Biden is as bad as Trump, but he could be doing a whole lot better.
Some were also flown to Fort Bliss, TX. which is here in El Paso, TX. where we're mostly brown here too. They'll blend in here and I hope to meet some soon. No human being is illegal, at least in my opinion.
@SeaGreenEyez He sounds like an asshole!
