How much wealth is enough and how much is too much wealth? At what point does great wealth become a self perpetuating end in itself, no longer a benefit to society at large but acting amorally to maintain and grow more wealth regardless of the negative consequences to society?
Petroleum companies deny climate change in spite of the current and future costs to society, costs that those same energy companies do not want to shoulder themselves and do not contribute to fixing the problem because they pay very little in taxes compared to the environmental damage that they cause with their products.
Big Pharma promotes drugs like Oxycotin that kills thousands and addicts millions but they don't want restrictions on their profits or controls for that matter either.
Considering the current, outrageous level of wealth that has no precedent in history, doesn't it make sense that conglomerates be broken up and corporate taxes be raised to a proper level again?

Greed has taken down many a country, empire, and kingdom; and it will likely be our downfall too.
