A longtime U.S. Capitol Police officer charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly warning a Jan. 6 rioter to take down incriminating posts on Facebook has resigned from his position, lawyers representing the officer confirmed to Forbes on Friday.

It sounds like he was aiding and abetting a criminal to evade justice. I hope that's a crime.
