Virginia School Board Forces Librearies to Ban "Sexually Explicit" Books

Two of the school board members went as far as to say the books out to be burned. They don't plan to stop with "sexually explicit" books, but plan on makign future criteria for "inappropriateness".

Level 8

I think humans make way too big a deal about our bodies and what kids know about them but that's me. The books should be in an age appropriate section, say 13, but libraries are primarily for informational resources.

Yeah, fanatics do tend to escalate things.
