@Lorajay Interesting. I saw no mention of the pain of cutting and its effects. I was cut and DECADES LATER my mother told me that when she brought me home, I trusted no one.

@Lorajay People can argue til the cows come home about foreskin sensitivity. The fact is that the operation is usually undertaken without sound scientific or medical reason and without the informed consent of the circumcised, a minor, or his parents, guardians.

I notice that women tend to squeal about the barbarity of rape.

@FrayedBear I had my son circumcised and have regretted it, because of information I learned after the deed. He claims he has no complaints. He did not circumcise his son. I chose circumcision because of repeated infections I experienced while married to my first husband who was not circumcised. Medical information at that time recommended circumcision because statistics indicated that Jewish women had less ovarian cancer. My second husband was not circumcised but he was very clean and I never had an infection. My last relationship was with a circumcised male. If he had a lack of sensation or a traumatic memory of circumcision it was never revealed to me.

Obviously if I had the choice I would never circumcise a child again. Parents do many things to their children without their permission that give them some pain. I would still vaccinate my children and getting his childhood diseases and vaccinations hurt. If their tonsils needed to be removed I would have their tonsils removed. A generation before me I was told that tonsillectomies will performed in the same way vaccinations were given by lining up children just to get it done.

I hope you do not have a traumatic memory or lack of sensation due t circumcision.

@FrayedBear if domestic violence was rooted in circumcision, it could be proven by the prevalence of domestic violence in Jewish homes. This article that I accessed but can't link for some reason indicates that the prevalence of abuse is in similar proportions in all religions.

LMAO not. There may be a difference in living in a traditionally corrupt religion that has sacrificed body parts to their make believe deity for 1000's of years to the xtian practice brought in to supress natural habits.
There is also the guilt aspect where Jews use preventing cervical cancer as validity for circumcision. If this was true breasts would be amputated to prevent future cancer!

@Lorajay I was fascinated by Yvilletom's reply above. The woman who wrote the remarkable blog I give the link to not long ago told me that she wrote it after experiencing sex with an uncircumcised man that did not result in her experiencing vaginal pain. She didn't because the sheath of the foreskin largely allows the penis to move within itself rather than the vagina. What is not realised is that the coarsening of penile sensation results in more aggressive sex in order to achieve satisfaction.
