I tried to post this before but I'm not sure if it went up.
Anybody else a nihilist in which atheism is implied?

I believe there is no meaning to life but there is certainly meaning in life. To many religious people their meaning comes from serving an invisible friend so they can exist in an afterlife while the atheist has to find purpose right here and now because that’s all he has. We find joy in the natural world and want to preserve it for our children. We see awe by contemplating the extent of the universe from the infinitely small to the incomprehensible size of it. It’s a joy to get up and live each and every day.

Of course I give my life meaning, I even have the occasional existential crises, but my personal meaning is just that, personal. I believe people think nihilism is depressing but it's actually liberating
