What Superstitious Beliefs or Habits do you Still Have?

I've realized that I still say 'good luck', 'cross your fingers', and think it's a poor idea to walk under a ladder (well, it is - something might fall on you ).

What are your superstitious 'beliefs'?

I don't think I have any left. Wow. How about that. I can't think of any.

Fifty years ago I would have told you that I have no superstitions. But it was suggested that I did, that some things I hadn't thought of as superstitions, actually were. So I did an inventory of my beliefs, Including a lot of things that I just took for granted because, "everyone knows that." I was quite amazed at how much I believed (things everyone knows as facts) were actually base in the supernatural assumptions that we make without even thinking about it. I think I have dumped all my supernatural beliefs, but I am not infallible. If I find any more, I am prepared to dump them also.

The older I get, the less superstition I have. I usually walk under ladders and break those superstitious “rules” just for the hell of it. It doesn’t seem to have ill effect.
