In the same way that anti-abortion is a plank of American Christianity. These issues are used as litmus tests to judge the loyalty of other followers.

You live in Florida right? A stand your ground state? I believe you should buy a gun and go to the range. If somebody fucks with you? Shoot them. They won't fuck with you anymore

LOL. I love your attitude. I do have a gun and was trained in the military as Security. I live in NV, though. We're not quite up to FL's level of independence. TBH, I'm actually unsure of what our view is on that. While I guess that I could carry it around I don't but if they come to my door then...yeah.
