Good for him! I hope he succeeds in being the spark that begins changing this backwards culture.

He has a point. There still remains entrenched racism. It is difficult for most Americans to care because, for many, it is a group of mostly millionaires controlled by billionaires.
That said:

• If players get "too mouthy" or "too political" etc, they get banished, especially black players.
• few POC are in coaching or in administrative offices
• no major owners that I am aware of - I could be wrong, but can't think of any
• the NFL has a weaker union than MLB and the---
• NBA, thus players actually have very little guaranteed money
• most players have little say on which teams they play for, at least for their first few years

Time for a player walkout...no football for about 3 or 4 seasons should cripple the bastards.
