He has a point. There still remains entrenched racism. It is difficult for most Americans to care because, for many, it is a group of mostly millionaires controlled by billionaires.
That said:
- If players get "too mouthy" or "too political" etc, they get banished, especially black players.
- few POC are in coaching or in administrative offices
- no major owners that I am aware of - I could be wrong, but can't think of any
- the NFL has a weaker union than MLB and the---
- NBA, thus players actually have very little guaranteed money
- most players have little say on which teams they play for, at least for their first few years

No owners are black, and there's only one black head coach.
Time for a player walkout...no football for about 3 or 4 seasons should cripple the bastards.

Fans will get mad and tear down the community bought stadiums, or something, so players will never stand up. One tried to kneel and it didn’t work well.
