(Products to possibly sell to Russia?)
Some of the White House documents that Donald Trump improperly took to his Mar-a-Lago residence were clearly marked as classified, including documents at the “top secret” level, according to two people familiar with the matter.
The existence of clearly marked classified documents in the trove — which has not previously been reported — is likely to intensify the legal pressure that Trump or his staffers could face, and raises new questions about why the materials were taken out of the White House.
The Presidential Records Act has NO punishment(s), NO enforcement mechanism(s) whatsoever.
A President has FULL authority to de/classify records at will/whim.
. . . queued up to the start of the pertinent section:
I've seem other reports that say the presidential records act does have provisions that if violated, can make a person ineligible to run for future office. There is also the possibility of fines and jail time. This "expert" seems to be a minority opinion
It may not be the act itself that has punishments, but the act may be covered by other laws which apply to the presidential records act or that the presidential records act falls under.
That does not surprise me. He clearly sees himself as being above the law.
Are they never going to put this treasonous orange blob and his sycophantic followers in jail for treason?
