Can kids of color opt out of white Disney based history/civics classes? Native Americans opt out of any history having to do with European landing or homesteading in the west? We are dumbing down our educational system which was barely functioning before.

Here's how he started the memo:

February is a time for caring and growing for our students. In honor of Black History Month and Valentine’s Day, I will be coming around and teaching lessons related to equity, caring, and understanding differences.

He's not teaching Black History, he's teaching "equity, caring, and understanding differences" in honor of Black History Month.

Lets here it for "all lives matter" eh?

@Theresa_N No let's hear it for "honesty in reporting"

  1. The guy was not a history teacher.
  2. He was not going to teach Black History.
