So what are you anti Russia & Putin trolls going to say now?
The US is without doubt the easiest country in the world to rabble rouse, since it is the worst example, since the fall of the British empire, of a significant proportion of the population being successfully indoctrinated from birth to believe in the inherent superiority of their culture, their "way of life" and their "god given" right to police the rest of the world without the need for evidence or even comparison, without actually declaring themselves a legitimate dictatorship.
Most other post imperial nations who held this same attitude did in fact have failed empires behind them, the US would claim this make them the exception as there never was an American empire. Of course this is incorrect since the UNITED states are their own empire, taken with guns and germ warfare from a conquered populous armed mostly with stone age weaponry and a misplaced faith in magic.
The USA would do well to draw comparison between its own federal five hundred year history and the 500 year period that marked the change from a colonial power to an imperial one in Ancient Rome. The rise of decadence, the switch from idealism to capitalism and the move from philosophy to economics.
It is especially visible in the change from eclectic religious freedom to an emperor sanctioned religion contractually in cahoots with the government for their mutual benefit.
Well said Len. You may be interested in Chris Hedges latest report "Chris Hedges yet again writes a profound report on the importance of US hypocrisy regarding war ...".
@FrayedBear If you were less interested in domination, you would post on other subjects.
Lol. I'm more interested in preservation of my independent self, unfettered by US propoganda & its narcissistic destruction of non US people & ideals.
Oh, I do post on other topics. Try "Traditional and Folkmusic", "Passions", "Food Glorious Food" et al.
