He's this Congress's Joe Lie-berman and Baucus. That's what Blue Dogs do. They only ran, originally, on the Dem ticket because the Con side was taken. Then they had to keep saying they're a Dem. It would be nice if we had let The South go. Lincoln fucked that up.
