Gun control is only part of the problem. Guns are useless without ammunition. Far more important is to establish strict ammunition control, with the licences of arms stores being rescinded if they fail to comply.
Agreed it is part of the solution but as you know you can always recycle your cartridges and bullets are not overly hard to make.
I suggest the answer lies in Americans & their government together with all countries & their respective governments remembering, that all countries whether USA, China or Mongolia, that a strong country is one that respects all people whether they live in America or are citizens of other foreign nations.
This man had 17 magazines and over a thousand rounds of ammunition.
Restricting the supply of ammo would at least restrict the death totals, if not prevent such incidents entirely.
Good idea. Although here in the UK we have the opposite, you have to be licensed to own a gun and meet strict guidelines, such as, renewing your license often, listing your guns, and keeping the gun always in a locked strongbox which is inspected by the police etc. But one of the qualifications is, that you have to be able to prove, ( receipts from gun shops ) that you are buying ammunition regularly, to prove that you are really using the gun for what are thought to be proper uses, like hunting or practicing marksmanship.
And well, it seems to work fairly well for us.
