How do you answer people who ask "Why do you celebrate (christ)mas if you're an atheist?
I guess you can celebrate christmas since your birthday is a day after . Just kidding. Christmas is a comercial day. And the religious meaning is not the same for every body all over the world. Been happy every day is a must
whether or not is a holliday
Last week, I saw a gift for Christmas on the Chinese website. I don't know about the quality of this product. Can you give me some Suggestions[youthstar.ebcoo.net]
I actually don't celebrate it. I don't like the pressure to buy gifts at a certain time of year for everyone I know. That makes little sense to me. Plus, I attach no other meaning to the holiday other than time off, which I do enjoy. So, my way of "celebrating" is just to enjoy the extra days off.
I've recently been watching a lot of grain Hancock's you tube discussions. He was promoting that it's is fact Christianity was originally nostics belief founded by pagans. He had some good points like what religion could kill people and continue to say they are doing god's work, isn't god supposed to love mankind? Grahm was also saying that the true Christians back when it was started knew Jesus was never a man and never meant to be mistaken for one, because something that is truly good could never be human, Jesus never committed a "sin" because Jesus is an idea and way to live. I know I probably don't sound very agnostic right now but I've got one more to add haha, so the god supposed to be praised by the Catholic religion is yeaweh or some spelling like that is truly an evil god damning people to hell sacrificing babies raping women and what not (why not men too). Back to Christmas, Graham Hancock connected the mushroom that red one with white dots to Santa, Santa wears red and white, fly's around the world like the spores of mushrooms, the reindeer are commonly connected to the mushroom, it grows under pine and spruce trees. There are a lot of connections made but still hard to wrap my head around a good reason to celebrate.
