@TomMcGiverin the Republicans are working their little brains into a tizzy to make this come true. DeSatan has already pretty much taken over Florida and Abbot in Texas. If (when) the Federal government tries to bring them back into line they will ignore it and join up to separate from the Union, along with a few other states. They will basically be like so many other of the South American despot run countries.
