(Republicans are idiots...)
Former President Donald Trump called for the US Department of Education's abolition during his Saturday speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas, Texas.
Trump told a crowd that prohibitions need to be brought in on teaching "inappropriate racial, sexual and political material" to American schoolchildren. ...
I’d agree with that
The reason the (religious) right wants to take down the DOE is because it’s secular. So as to replace it with a faith based curriculum. Why would you, as an atheist, be okay with that?
@NostraDumbass
CRT, democrat indoctrination, and tranny story hour are just a few things.
The law prohibits religious indoctrination. That’s easily stopped.
@CourtJester Not so easily stopped when Christian Theocrats in positions of power and influence (like, oh you know, the Supreme Court) are doing all they can to tear down the wall of separation between Church and State in order to transform America into a “Christian Nation” as they insist the founding fathers originally intended. My god, you’re clueless!
@NostraDumbass
I’m newly married and we have a kid on the way.
We’re already planning to home school, but I’d rather talk my kid out of praying than explain why they had a trany story book hour our give the facts on CRT to my biracial kid.
@CourtJester Parents who home school are cowards. They’re afraid of exposing their children to a wider world of new information and opinion which may call into question the “wisdom” of their parents. So the ultimate purpose of home-schooling is not to educate, but to indoctrinate. It further tells me that you don’t have much confidence in your own beliefs.
@NostraDumbass parents that don’t home school are too lazy and or uneducated to ensure that their children are raised and educated to their own values.
@CourtJester I feel tremendous sorrow and pity for the child that will be be raised and “educated” by you. Or should I say, raised by Fox News.
@NostraDumbass
NewsMax. Not Fox News.
And while the lazy liberals are letting a teacher teach their kid that blacks were enslaved, we’ll be teaching ours that both blacks and whites were slaves in the US and that there were many black slave owners. Also that Nike and Apple have their products made by slave labor in China. Also that the KKK was an arm of the democrat party, Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. were republicans.
While you’re kid’s reading about space in a book, ours will be at the air and space museum. While yours is learning individual pronouns for people, my wife and I can take our kids to work and teach them actual biology.
While you’re worried about teachers teaching them about god, we’ll be teaching our kids the different religions and why they’re stupid.
While you’re teaching your kids to trust the government and believe in AOC and Pelosi, we’ll be teaching our kids that a group of millionaires would never pass a bill to hire 87,000 IRS agents to go after millionaires that donate to their political campaigns and why democrats are dumb enough to think that they actually will.
While you’re taking your kids to pro abortion rallies, we’ll be teaching our kids about personal responsibility and the importance of making the right decisions before a mistake is made.
I’d assume our kids will be smarter and have a stronger work ethic by 12 years old than the vast majority of democrats. Our kids will be your kid’s boss 25 or 30 years from now.
I feel more sorrow for the slack jawed, booger eating, idiots that you guys are raising. It’s funny in a dark humor way, but it’s still pretty sad. I’ll still leave a decent tip if they serve me well at Applebees. I’m sure your kids will learn amazing customer service though. Ass kissing (voting) for a dollar will be high on their their curricula I’m sure.
We need people like that to provide the minor services too though. So there’s still some respect in their day-to-day efforts.
@CourtJester While you’re busy teaching your kid what to think, I’ll be teaching mine how to think. Challenge authority, avoid easy answers to tough questions, listen attentively and always be willing to be proven wrong no matter what you believe. A child raised in this way, I believe, will inevitably come to see that the foibles and foolishness of the regressive left, (such as CRT, gender pronouns and safe spaces) pale in comparison to the damage done to society by the right. Free market fundamentalism is just as dangerous as fundamentalist religion; socialism is the “greatest good for the greatest number of people”; “free stuff” in the form of tax havens, subsidies and bailouts are features, not bugs, of crony capitalism. These are self-evident truths that a free mind will eventually discover on its own, and will not have to be indoctrinated into accepting. Inevitably, such a person will discover the most uncomfortable truth of all: That right-wing media and politicians, owned and controlled by conservative oligarchs, have trained up many generations of ordinary Americans (such as yourself) to vote against their own interests to the point that middle-class America is now on life support. You think the enemy are immigrants swarming the border or lawless leftists marching in the street, but the greatest threat to your safety, security and prosperity has always been the Wolves of Wall Street, the Bankers on Broadway, the industrialists and corporate overlords, and the politicians they own.
Hahaha.
Teaching them how to think is exactly what home schooling does.
@CourtJester As mentioned earlier the purpose of home-schooling is to protect the child from being exposed to different opinions, values and knowledge that might call into question the “wisdom” of the parents. The purpose of home-schooling, in other words, is to create a “safe space” in which a child is prevented from developing his/her own identity in order to become a carbon copy of the parent. Because, by and large, home-schooling parents are fearful and insecure xenophobes. Yeah, I definitely mentioned that earlier, but apparently you slept thru the first lesson. Go to the back of the class, Homer, and put on your dunce cap again.
@NostraDumbass No. home schooling is to teach deeper than a text book and a lazy teacher holding on a few more years until retirement and uninformed complacent parents that just let the system do their job.
Home schooled kids are actually involved in more adult social skills, accounting situations, have far greater discipline, experience more personal decision making instances, and personally experience more real life leadership experiences eight times more than private or public school kids.
Public schooled kids are 99.7% more likely to apply for welfare and public assistance than home schooled kids. Home schooled kids are also 98.4% more likely to go to college or a trade school than public school kids.
I’m a judgmental prick. I’ll admit it, but I know a lot of home schooled kids and I can’t point to a stupid one. They’re just smarter and have far greater social skills with adults and make kids their age look stupid. I could go to Walmart right now and probably point out 30 public school retards in a the first two minutes.
Liberals hate the facts, but they’re still factual. Public schools suck and the parents of public school kids are uneducated and/or (most likely and) lazy.
We also found out today that we’re having twins. +2 republicans.
@CourtJester Well you pretty much gave away the game with that last comment didn’t you? Two children=two more Republicans.Your politics will become theirs. Your beliefs will become theirs. Your values will become theirs., etc., etc.
You don’t want children. You want clones.
@NostraDumbass But mine will be educated. Yours will be a social retard. Remember that.
Middle Ages here we come. Like so many dictator run third world countries, only those who can pay get educated and mostly in state controlled religious based schools.
Pushing to make more stupid, easily controlled sheeple
