Scams: Beware of telemarketers asking for "Everett". I've had dozens of these calls over the years, and they always begin by asking for the same person. This last time, I said I was Everett, and what did they want? They asked if I had any properties I wanted to sell them. I said I'd sell them Trump Tower in New York. They wished me good day and hung up! 
I wonder what I did wrong...was it something I said?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Interesting, the scam messages I used to get were all for "Daniel" and came from hundreds of different numbers, so I couldn't block them all. Somehow within the last year or so, they all stopped coming, not sure how that happened, or what I might have done to stop them, but glad they stopped

They have called many times and have always asked, "Is Arthur there?"
I always say, "He died of the Covid," then I hang up.

That's weird, because with me they always ask for Everett. If they asked for Arthur, I'd say "He moved upstate", because that's my son's name, and he did move away.
