Very little as long as we keep breeding like we have. Population growth negates everything we can try to do to negate it. Thomas Malthus was right and we prove it constantly.

Individual actions do make a positive difference, but cannot and will not make a big enough difference. 71% of global pollution is caused by a mere 100 corporations. Serious environmental action must focus on curbing corporate polluters, rather than pretending it's up to us as individuals.

Sure it can. I do it.

Yes! But recycling isn’t enough. We need to reduce consumption. Single use plastics need to be banned.

Two things would make the greatest difference: (1: drastic reduction in rthe use of fossil fuels, and (2) a great reduction in the use of plastics.

We did have a problem with the ozone layer. After banning cfc`s etc. it has been solved. So yes we can make a difference.

Yes but everyone has a part to play it’s no use if the West keep recycling and the east keeps not recycling

Yes, any and all efforts help, fairy steps lead to strides ?

It's likely they would help. Unfortunately, there are far too many people who wouldn't participate.
Especially in the US. Most especially under the current regime.
