Yes, I agree with your theory. I believe it is sound. However, the religious have a vice grip on their brains, hence they cannot bear to allow any form of challenge to their belief system.

I always felt if their beliefs were too weak to take a challenge, then those beliefs must have he might of a tissue paper duck about to set sail in a toilet bowl of water.

Fair would never enter their minds. Therefore, they would never allow science in their sandbox.
