Actor Tim Robbins just told Russell Brand that at first he masked and social distanced and resented people who didn't, and expected that people who didn't comply would "have a hard day coming up, that there will be some serious death here."
But then he looked around and realized that these measures didn't seem to make much difference. At that point he "started to wonder more and more about what we were being told and whether it was true or not."
Out of curiosity he attended an anti-lockdown protest in London, and found that the reality was quite different from the media portrayal.
"I saw the way that they were being described in the press, and it wasn't true," Robbins said. "These were not, you know, National Front Nazis. These were liberals and lefties and people who believed in personal freedom."
Then he noticed that there wasn't a whole lot of consistency in people's views, and that they sure didn't seem to be motivated by science: "At first, if you were a Democrat, when Trump was president, well, you weren't going to take that vaccine because it was Trump's vaccine, and then that seemed to somehow change. It was kind of Orwellian. It was like we are no longer at war with Eastasia."
Then, all of a sudden, "If you didn't take the vaccine, you were a Republican."
The result of all this, said Robbins, was that a person would "go from someone that is inclusive, altruistic, generous, empathetic, to a monster. Where you want to freeze people’s bank accounts because they disagree with you. That’s a dangerous thing. That’s a dangerous world that we’ve created. And I say 'we,' because I was part of that. I bought into that whole idea early on."
Funny how we all are compassionate about every other illness except covid. Many want to hang the unvaxxed , like a wild west show of non evidence.l
Many people threw logic and reason right out the window,
and never gave things a second thought.
They bought the propaganda and vaccine apologist dogma,
even though a cursory examination of the facts renders
the entire narrative as ludicrous.
