The similar water ratio is remarkable. (or is it coincidence?)

It's not the ratio of water but the ratio of the proportions of hydrogen to deuterium to tritium in it.

(There couldn't possibly be any tritium with a 12 year half-life, but I get your meaning. From the article "Studies suggest it contains water that is a near-perfect match for that on Earth." )

Unless I get to be at, or near, Ground Zero when one of these bad boys hits, it's all academic to me.
Global killer/Mass extinction event or
I don't care.
