Andy Borowitz usually writes really good political satire in his columns, but he also has a nonfiction book entitled, "Profiles In Ignorance", which chronicles actual facts about the decline in intellect in politics, and how even when a politician is intelligent, they have to dumb down their message to get elected. The book is a very entertaining and fun read, as well as being informative.
